CERTIFIED NURSING AIDE STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN PINNING CEREMONY

On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, eighteen Career & Technology Institute (CTI) students enrolled in Practicum in Health Science - Certified Nursing Aide earned their pin for the completion of the Certified Nursing Assistant program.

VISD TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RURAL SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAM

Victoria ISD has been approved to pilot Summer Meal Distribution for Rural Areas program.

Starting June 1, 2023, Aloe Elementary will be the feeding site for this program.

STUDENTS RECOGNIZED DURING TEXAS CAREER SIGNING DAY

Today, Tuesday, May 16, Victoria ISD's Career and Technical Education (CTE) held its Texas Career Signing Day. Students who plan to continue in post-secondary opportunities in their chosen CTE career pathway through college, university, technical school, military enlistment, or employment were honored at the signing ceremony.

Victoria ISD's Leadership Definition, Leading Toward Genius, is separated into three categories: Connecting, Growing, and Reaching. This month our focus is on celebrating Reaching for Genius. Reaching for Genius is comprised of four indicators; the fourth is Achieves Results.

Each campus selected one employee that embodies the "Achieves Results" indicator under Reaching.
